HANNAH RIDEN

Hannah is a young New Zealand artist known for her moody oil landscapes and watercolour botanicals. She has a strong eye for the atmosphere and emotion that give a glow to portraits and landscapes, and is adept at the modeling of light and the use of colour, so her subjects come to life with a vibrancy that leaps out at you when you see them. Hannah is entirely self-taught, and her paintings explore a wide range of subjects in a realistic, classical style, with the aim of producing paintings that glow from within.
